About GPS SmartSole®

The patented GPS enabled “Smart” insoles fit easily into most adult shoes and let you monitor the whereabouts of loved ones who may have a tendency to wander or at risk of becoming disoriented and lost. No need for them to remember to carry a separate tracking device, just slip on their shoes and go – like they normally would. This system capitalizes on procedural memory, which means even those with advanced memory disorders typically remember to wear shoes!

The ergonomic GPS SmartSoles® feel like regular insoles which means loved ones can be tracked unobtrusively and remain free from the stigma of other wearable trackers that can be seen by others. Avoid the struggle and anxiety caused by “lock on” bracelet trackers, which can be a stressor for those with Autism and Dementia. This is wearable technology that not only provides peace of mind, but can also save lives, while preserving the privacy and dignity of the wearer. Keep mom or dad in their home, preserve their freedom and independence, even while keeping an eye on them.

SmartSole FAQs

What are the available sizes for GPS SmartSole?

The SmartSoles come in 2 trim to fit sizes for adolescents and adults. The smallest size they can fit is a Men’s size 5 Wide or Women’s Size 7 Wide. The length of the toe area can be trimmed; the width may not be trimmed. Due to the size of the technology within the insole, these are the minimum sizes for GPS SmartSole at this time.

What if GPS SmartSole gets wet?

The GPS SmartSole is water resistant! Although the SmartSole should not be submerged for extended lengths of time, it is sealed within the foam material. Use in wet weather, or with typical foot moisture is okay. We recommend only spot cleaning for the care of your GPS SmartSole.

Will the wearer feel the GPS SmartSole?

Although the GPS SmartSole is noticeably thicker than a typical insole, according to our customer surveys, a majority of wearers do not report any difference in their footwear, and/or finds them to be comfortable. Caregiver Tip: Loosen the lacing/straps of the shoe to allow for the added thickness of the insole.
Caregiver Tip: Need a label free pair for increased discretion? Limited supply available upon request.
